Where do I begin?!
It all started back in 2019, when we had planned our 4th trip to Carlingford, Ireland, a 25 minute drive from my home. The families had organised and planned, the tickets were booked, and then the big C hit the world. The trip was cancelled and postponed to what we hoped would be the following year.
Fast forward to 2024, we revamped the trip and got a group together...this was the year! Nothing was stopping us from getting to Ireland!
17 mummies, daddies, kids of ALL ages, online and face to face students, came together for an Irish adventure, with myself, Toni, and our lovely teacher, Daniela. And what an adventure it was!
6 days of bikes rides, ice-creams, competitions, laughs, speaking English, Spanish and Spanglish, over a thousand photos taken, teaching Sevillanas, making friends and exploring, getting to know my family, area and culture... this trip, this group was absolutely amazina, to say the least.
To my lovely students: thank you for a wonderful week, thank you for being so kind to me, to my family, and for being so enthusiastic about everything we did together. I hope you enjoyed it and have taken a little piece of Carlingford with you!
